By using GrabIt ("the service") you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
What GrabIt is
GrabIt is a free tool that lets you download publicly available media — videos, audio, subtitles — from third-party platforms, and process that media into transcripts, summaries, and other derived content.
Your responsibilities
- Only download what you have the right to download. GrabIt provides the means to fetch publicly available files; it is your responsibility to know whether you are entitled to use, share, or repurpose them. Copyright, trademarks, and platform terms of service still apply.
- No private content. Do not attempt to use GrabIt to access content from private, password-protected, or paywalled sources.
- No abuse.Do not script, scrape, or otherwise automate the service beyond ordinary human use. Do not use GrabIt to harvest content at scale for resale or for purposes that violate the source platform's terms.
- No illegal use. Do not use GrabIt for any purpose that is illegal in your jurisdiction or ours.
Acceptable use
- Personal viewing and offline backup of content you have the right to use.
- Educational, research, journalism, archival, accessibility, or commentary use consistent with fair use or fair dealing in your jurisdiction.
- Repurposing your own original content across platforms.
Unacceptable use
- Republishing or selling content you don't hold the rights to.
- Removing watermarks, attributions, or DRM from licensed content.
- Mass-scraping any platform.
- Using GrabIt to harass, defame, or harm any person or platform — including the original uploaders.
Free tier and fair use
The service is free to use. We apply daily fair-use limits per IP address and per signed-in account to prevent abuse and keep the service running for everyone. Limits may change over time. Going over the limit pauses your downloads until the next day; it does not result in any charges.
Accounts
Signing in is free and uses Google. By signing in, you agree to our Privacy Policy. You can delete your account at any time by emailing [email protected].
No warranty
The service is provided "as is", without warranty of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee that the service will be available, that downloads will succeed, or that fetched files will be free of error. Source platforms change constantly and may break extraction without notice.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, GrabIt and its operators are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising out of or related to your use of the service, including but not limited to loss of data, loss of profits, or third-party claims related to content you downloaded.
Third-party content
Content downloaded through GrabIt belongs to its respective owners. GrabIt does not host any of the content — we connect to the original platforms and pass the file through to you. We are not responsible for the substance, legality, or accuracy of third-party content.
Termination
We may suspend or terminate your access to the service if we believe you are violating these terms. You may stop using the service at any time.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. Continued use of the service after we post changes means you accept them.
